How Many SEO Keywords Should I Use?

I’ll be blunt: there is no reason you should worry about how many times your keywords show up on your pages. It doesn’t matter, whatsoever.

The truth is that content is king and if you write great content that is unique, compelling and useful, the better off you are. Your Web traffic will increase, you’ll attract more viewers naturally and your search ranking will rise in time.

There are tons of Keyword Density Tools out there, sure, but I’ve used them all and I get different results from each tool. I have even performed subsequent checks with the same tool and that gave me entirely different results. If you don’t believe me, check them out. It’s a total crap shoot.

Where Should I Use My Keywords?

Now, that’s a way better question. You’ll want to include your primary keywords in your H1, Title, Description, Alt & Title tags, Subheadings and within the content as much as you need to properly sell your product or service.

Always Remember: It’s About Quality

Your content must be useful and relevant to your customers for them to connect with your brand and business. Put in a lot of time and effort into your content, it’s totally worth it!
